Fyrudden

Since the beginning of the 1950’s, Fyrudden has been the centre of the Gryt archipelago. A guest harbour, restaurant as well as a ice cream parlour and golf course only 4 km distant. Bus 464 stops at Fyrudden.

Ämtö

We dock at the pier at Ämtö Stugby. On Ämtö, there are excellent swimming opportunities, including a lovely sandy beach and beautiful cliffs to swim from. There is also a kiosk (open from 12 PM to 5 PM) and options to rent kayaks and boats. Most of the island is a nature reserve with well-marked hiking trails. As the largest island in the Gryt archipelago, there is plenty of space to find your own cove for swimming or fishing.

If you want to stay overnight, there are cottages available for rent, simple but with a fantastic view of the water and the inner shipping lane.

For information and cottage reservations, contact Ämtö Stugorna at +46 73-4433448.

Harstena

The island is populated since 1543. Harstena is famous for its well-preserved community where the islanders made their living from seal culling. Nowadays the visitor can enjoy the locally smoked fish, overnight facilities, a bakery, a restaurant and if the weather allows, light refreshments outdoors. The island is very popular with leisure craft.
